Shire is an amalgamation of many acquisitions. It has not had time to integrate itself into one company. Long term problems tend to be fixed with short term financial deals.

L'environnement de travail est très agréable grâce aux collègues avec qui je m'entends à merveille.
Cependant, l'horaire de travail est très compliqué avec des week-end comprenant 12 heures de travail de nuit/jour.
Too many and often reorganisations. The organisation is unsure and has done reorganisations several times within 2 years.

The work environment is very friendly but the job security is not the first priority of the top management since the history of the company is made of mergers/ acquisitions and rumours about potential spin-off.
