They provided enough opportunities for me to develop in unexpected and excellent directions. I joined them to work on a global cloud sourcing project and then soon moved to become the lead BA in their global Cyber Security team. A forward looking and great place to work for anyone who puts in the effort.
Some things can take too long as this is a very large organisation.
Flexible working times, small team of specialists, Management that stood behind the Employees . Communication within the Management Areas was not Always Optimal

Many nice and helpful colleagues, but the culture is spoiled by a senior management that acts contrary to company standards without being held accountable and pockets the entire bonus pool. The IT environment is an absolute nightmare.
Good cantinas, employee flexibility and internal mobility
Nightmare IT, considers employees as liabilities rather than assets
Very competitive salary (even for swiss banking standards) and good benefits. The working culture is somewhat average and employees are discouraged or frustated due to multiple major changes in management and strategy.
Unfortunately many IT managers do not have enought technical skills and experience to do their job in the IT environment.Things are better for managers of the pure banking environment. Good and active workers try to find opportunity elsewhere, while relaxed and old persons remain there.
Starting out as a contractor in the finance department I was able to get insight into the BackOffice. My manager was a great teacher and highly appreciative of the work I accomplished. Due to changes within the department (several Managers went on retirement) I looked and found another position within the company. I got the great opportunity to work within a global team for the IT department. My position was newly created and I was able to develop a whole new way of accomplishing big savings for the company. With my talent I achieved great results that benefited the company as well as the customers I had the chance of working together.
