Axiom (in Switzerland) is nothing more and nothing less than a job agent for temporary assignments. The name of their game is to engage the cheapest employees for the purpose of achieving the highest possible margin. Should you negotiate a high rate - you will be the first one they get rid of (irrespective of your performance). Now clearly that probably goes for all job agents. The highlights experienced during my stint with Axiom were clearly the people Axiom was lucky enough to have engaged - most of them based on a CV and a single phone call. Management is arrogant and has no interest in you unless you can generate revenue for them. It took several weeks of discussion to modify a poorly phrased and miserable reference letter to get it to an "acceptable", i.e. average level. Axiom´s management in Switzerland has an urgent need to improve. Worlds apart: Working for another job agent in Switzerland (Yerra Solutions) was a very pleasant experience indeed.

Pros

Compensation for sick leave etc. is as per mandatory law. Nothing beyond.

Cons

Limited support by mgmt, depends on your revenue generating potential for Axiom.
